Rosemary Price passed expert tests
Rosemary Price passed expert tests?
Yep.
A lot of people who turn to working as a tarot reader or psychic do it because they seek being in the limelight, desperate for praise and to feel important. More of them do it because they are short of money and not got the necessary skills, talents, qualifications etc needed to get a well paid job. These people are often unemployed and many are unemployable, the best job they can get is something menial, boring and badly paid - cleaning, shelf filler, box packer etc. To them the idea of sitting chatting and having people hang on their every word sounds fantastic. AND they think if the psychic is going to earn maybe £25 that is a whopping amount! Because they compare it to their very low hourly rate for doing something far more boring and physical. They forget that the psychic needs a lot of skills that they do not have. Not just being a psychic, the psychic also needs to have practiced and been very serious about it for long enough, knowledgeable, good with people, chatty, friendly, able to explain themselves properly, able to be honest yet deliver things in a way that do not upset, non judgmental and much more. If they are going to be self employed they also need to invest money and time in becoming established as a psychic before anyone will trust them. The fakes and amateurs will try to do this by going on forums like face book and quora putting free posts. Others might put a card in a newsagent's window - because it is very very cheap. The proper psychics realise this is not good enough and get a proper website and do proper advertising.
If you tell the average tarot reader or psychic about the expert tests they can take so that potential clients know they can trust them they usually say either...
* I don't need to take tests, I know I am good
* I don't need to take tests, my friends say I am good
* I took the tests and failed them but that does not matter, I still know I am good
* Tests do not count, they mean nothing
* I have never ever heard of such tests, so what?
Then there are the others who pretend to have qualifications and been tested. See details of the fakes on etsy and ebay... fake psychics generally.... and the more recent spate of fake clairvoyants and mediums with fake qualifications
Sadly these tests are not compulsory. There are a lot of people around who refuse to take them and carry on advertising and charging money. They do not really care about you. Rosemary believes such tests should be compulsory, just as a taxi driver must learn the knowledge before he can take you from A to B and a therapist must be properly accredited. Can you imagine how ridiculous it would be if everyone could go around saying they have bought a car and can now drive but do not need to prove it to anyone. You can take their word for it? Trusting someone with your problems is ridiculous if based on their say so. But, of course, it would be an expensive and difficult thing to police. And psychics would have to pay towards that, and many would simply be very secretive about doing it rather than take those tests if they were compulsory. There would also be silly clients who prefer to go to the very cheap (maybe even free) person who did not bother (and has something to hide) rather than the authenticated properly qualified one who charges more. They charge more because they usually end up doing it as their full time job and need to earn a living wage from it.
When Rosemary Price was about eighteen she had heard of the tests. She took all of this very seriously even at that young age. She made a point of investigating it because she wanted to be sure that she was psychic and could help people. She knew that a lot of so called psychics are deluded and insist they are good when they are not, and it is wishful thinking or fantasy or mental health problems. She found out about The British Astrological and Psychic Society and contacted them. This led to her having their experts test her one by one. This was a long and slow drawn out process over months. She did not know any of them so there was no chance any would just be kind to her or biased - as it is with friends. Eventually all of the experts gave her the thumbs up and some of them wanted to continue to consult her regular as clients, they also asked her to join their register and to help them to test other applicants in the future. Many who take these tests fail them.
But despite having done this Rosemary wanted to go one step further and contacted newspapers and magazines asking them to test her too. Journalists and freelance writers are keen to test psychics because they would love to find a fake and blow their cover. It makes a juicy story for them to show up someone and call them a fraud. It is how they pay their bills. She took their tests and passed them too.
Rosemary then took the huge step of giving up a very interesting and well paid job with holiday and sick pay to do readings for clients full time. Despite the fact that she was then totallly single, with no other income and a mortgage to pay all alone. Very few people would be that dedicated when they know it will lead to working longer hours for less pay and no security.
To date we believe she is the most tested and verified psychic in the UK, and she is now aged 65. She has been helping clients with readings as a full time professional for more than forty years. This is probably a record too. You may find some who say they have been helping people for a long time but usually they mean now and then as a hobby, which is very different to full time. It is impossible to become good at doing readings if only doing them now and then.
Please feel free to read newspaper clippings each which are on this site to back this up.
Clients who come to see Rosemary for a face to face sitting can look through them.
