Anyone who is seeking a Psychic Tarot Reading will be forgiven for thinking that there is too much choice online now! With thousands of sites out there all claiming to offer readings it is understandable. Notice that I say claiming - this does not necessarily mean that they actually do. Tarot card readings are the most popular form of readings available - more popular than astrology. Not necessarily the best. I have always thought they were more popular partly because more people have heard of them and are used to going to a party and finding someone there talking about them or getting a pack of cards out and playing with them. Or because they like the idea that the person is not just sitting there and actually uses props to help them. But these props do not have to be these cards. They can be ordinary playing cards, Angel cards, a crystal ball or even dominoes and dice.
What sets a good reading apart from a bad one is not so much which method is used but who does it. If you take a great method but ask a stupid or incompetent or con artist to do it you will get bad results. Just as if you give a pot of paint and a paintbrush to someone who is clumsy or has bad eye sight you will not end up with a well decorated lounge! There is a lot of truth in that saying that a bad workman always blames his tools.
The really excellent leading readers can tell you far more without using any of these props than the bad ones can when they use them.
Yes these cards are very pretty and they come in all different shapes and
sizes. The pack I always liked best was the Toth set by Crowley, they
are very big and quite a sight! But they do not work any better than an
ordinary pack of playing cards because whatever is found out comes
from the reader not the props. Likewise another person can use a
very expensive hand made crystal ball and get bad results whilst
another uses a bowl of sand or water and gets better results. So
do not be fooled by props. They are a visual aid to give comfort
to the customer and a focus point, no more and no less.
