Fancy phoning a psychic? Well before you do that and actually phone a psychic I urge you to please stop and read this, then if you still think it is a good idea please go ahead with my blessing.

It has only recently become possible to talk to someone like this on the telephone because banks used to insist that credit cards could not be used to pay for services on the telephone and there were no premium rate numbers you could ring. The good thing about a premium rate number is that you can ring it straight away but the downside to them is that they are very cheap, the most expensive one being just £1.50 a minute. Now stop and have a think about this because what I say you may not like but it makes perfect sense! You may think wow but at that price that means they get £90 an hour. WRONG. It means at the most the company that provides that line gets £90 per hour. They then have to remove vat from that plus
the cost of setting up and administering the line, plus the amount they pay to the person who rents the line, which is usually about 35 pence out of £1.50. More often than not the line is not in use and waiting for a call so in any given hour it is probably used - altogether - for only fifteen minutes and at times like night time not at all. The reader, who gets 35 pence per minute when the line is busy then has to cover over heads like staff and advertising too which means they are lucky if they end up with 10 pence per minute to pay to the staff. You may think "so what" and love the idea of something cheap but if I told you you could have a very cheap dress for 10 pence you would be suspicious and say it is impossible to produce a nice dress with nice material for that price. The same applies to readings. When you speak to someone who is willing to sit there for hours hoping to get ten pence you are not speaking to a quality, experienced, top clairvoyant. You are speaking to someone who is desperate for work and that means someone who is not very good. These people who sit there for hours hoping to get ten pence are not doing this because they are generous and want to make your life happier, it is because they cannot get better paid work. Many of them apply to our organisation for work and proudly tell us they do such work. They then nag us to give them a job because we pay a lot better. But they refuse to be tested or fail the tests. Then go back to the badly paid work again.

At least when you pay by credit card you have a chance of getting
someone good because a credit card payment can be for any amount
of money and is not limited to this ridiculously low sum of only £1.50
a minute! Likewise when you pay through pay pal it can be for any
amount that is fair to both client and reader.

But the other point is this! Many people become very impatient about
having a reading. They may having been wondering whether to go ahead
with it or not for ages but then when they do decide to have one it becomes
urgent. They would expect to make an appointment to see their dentist,
doctor or workman but they suddenly want to talk to a psychic straight away,
often very late in the evening or on a Sunday. This brings us to a similar
problem. There are people who sit there all night hoping that you need
to ring them and eager to speak to you and take your money, but these
are not the reputable, experienced, qualified clairvoyants. The good ones
do not need to sit there all night hoping the phone rings, they already have
appointments to speak to people who have more respect for them the
day after during normal hours. So please remember that phone readings
are great, but beware of the cheap ones and beware of the instant ones!
